Many of us run out of energy very quickly and don’t know why. We link it to many different reasons some internal reasosn and some external ones. However, if we know the mechanism of energy generation on the internal level, we will be able to energize ourselves pretty quickly by doing the right thing. So, do you want to know how we can generate positive energy faster with less effort?

Basically, there are three interrelating factors that are keys in generating energy and its transmission to others. These three factors are passion, enthusiasm, and connection. Passion is a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept. Enthusiasm is the strong excitement of feeling for a cause. Connection is relating to one another through establishment of common interest or rapport.

Passion, enthusiasm, and connection (P-E-C) are like three gears connected to each other. The rotation of one gear results in the rotation of the other two gears. Passion is the big gear, connection is the small gear and enthusiasm is the middle one which indirectly links passion and connection together. We all have the P-E-C gears in our energy generator system and either of them could be the driving wheel for generating positive energy.

Based on the gears science, if the big gear is turned, the small gear goes faster with less force. In contrary, if the small gear is turned, the big gear goes slower with more force.

Our purpose is to generate more energy with less effort, right? So, which gear should be the driving wheel to meet the purpose: The connection gear or the passion gear?

If connection (small gear) is the driving wheel, then the passion gear goes slower with more force which may not result in generating enough positive energy let alone transmitting that energy to others. If passion (big gear) is the driving wheel, on the other hand, the connection gear goes faster with less force. This means that more energy is generated with less effort and as a result the energy can be more easily transmitted to others.

Now, you may ask what the role of enthusiasm is. Well, without enthusiasm as the middle gear, there is no link between passion and connection gears. In other words, we may be passionate about what we do but if we do not show it to others through enthusiasm, they would not be able to connect to us and as a result no sustainable energy would be generated. In other words, as Waldo Emerson observed, “without enthusiasm nothing great was ever achieved.”

So, what is the message here? The main message is that we need to tap into our passion and use it as the driving wheel for generating energy with less force and effort through connection gear. However, this won’t be possible if we are not enthusiastic enough about what we do and what we share with others.
