As of today, 120 countries have been impacted by this novel virus that its outbreak started in China at the beginning of 2020. It’s hard to believe how such a tiny virus could spread globally that fast and create a big impact that we see almost everywhere.

Although the number of lives lost is not comparable to the number of people dying every day due to hunger, malaria, and other diseases, we cannot ignore the fact that it is disrupting the way we live and challenging our ways of living in this so-called modern and digital age world.

In the past few days that the spread has widely involved the United States and resulted in the closure of schools and workplaces as well as cancelation of public events, I’ve been thinking of how such a small virus could create such a big impact not only on our daily lives but also on the world’s economy.

I call it, “the power of small”!

Now, in order to defeat the power of COVID-19 in creating fear, panic, and confusion in your life, here are the three recommendations that I have for you:

1. Stay positive

Despite the negative impacts this virus has had, it is really important to stay positive and use your valuable time wisely. By spreading our positive vibrations, we can end the pandemic faster.

Don’t get stuck in the negative news you hear or watch as they tend to keep you fearful and worried. The world has gone through such pandemics before but this time due to the wide-spread power of social media and people consuming news and videos more than ever, it has gone viral.

Staying positive and hopeful helps you stay focused and do what is necessary to do to keep yourself and those around you safe. Staying positive will also help you continue working toward accomplishing your goals and dreams.

As Marian Zimmer Bradley said, “The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveler than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination.”
The main difference between those who are hopeful and those who are hopeless on the same journey is that the former look at the positive side of their journey while the latter look at the negative side. The hopeful group enjoys the process while the hopeless group dislikes it.

So, stay positive and march toward your dreams.

2. Show that you care

During tough times, we tend to care more about one another.

In one of my previous emails at the beginning of this year, I shared with you the tough situations that my family and I went through in January. Right after I sent the email, I received several responses that really proved me how kind and caring people can be. I received lots of good wishes and positive prayers.

After the incident in January, my daughter was not in a good mood. She had nightmares every night to the extent that my wife and I got worried. I shared her situation with one of our best friends, Donna and Sharbel El Haber. Donna really cared and offered an angel reading and healing session for my daughter. She is really gifted in this area.

The session was great and Delisha, my daughter, got a lot out of it. It is now a few days that she no longer has nightmares. She even told me that last night she had a nice dream. Thank you, Donna!

During tough times, our family and kids need us more than ever. It is time to take our relationship with our loved ones to the next level. It’s time to show them that we care about them and their wellbeing. It’s also time to show others that we care and provide support to those who need it.

Due to the spread of the virus and lockdowns, many people may lose their jobs. They may be distressed not because of the virus but because of losing the job or not having sufficient income to provide for their family. If you know of someone who could be impacted due to the side effects of the virus, show them that you care and ask them if they need help in any way.

Remember that if you care, you will be taken care of! 🙂

3. Invest in learning and boost your skills

We are entering a new recession that no one knows how long it would last. Even after the COVID-19 is defeated, the economy may not come back to its record highs anytime soon. Many companies have been impacted. Many people may lose their jobs as a result of the current environment we are in and the recession we may enter soon.

Although this sounds negative and demotivating, the real winners are those who take advantage of the opportunities to invest in their learning and boost their skills.

As one of my mentors, Brendon Burchard, says, “I don’t know what your goals are for the future, but please start learning right now. Go get online courses. Research. Get books, mentors, new tools to win. Don’t mess around right now. What you do now will set you up for the long, long, long road ahead.”

I fully agree. It’s time to skill it up. It’s time to take your skills to the next level so you are ready for what might be ahead.

In order to prepare yourself for a better and more successful life, I recommend my most comprehensive online training, “Dream On and Get What You Want”.

This training will help you upgrade your mindset and become an extraordinary achiever. It will also help you think and act differently when it comes to developing new skills and initiating something new like starting or growing your own business.

And if you want to have me as your coach, respond to this email so we can arrange for a quick call. After years of coaching and helping others, I know how to help you take your life to the next level of success.

Thanks for reading this long email. I hope that the above three recommendations would be useful for you.

Until next time, stay safe and healthy, stay away from negativity, care for your loved ones, and develop some new skills.

Remember that “similar to the virus”, your small action steps can have a big impact on your life and the life of others but in a POSITIVE way! Use the power of small!
