When I was a kid, I was curious to know what would happen in the future and whether the world would end someday! I remember I had an interest in reading religious scriptures to know what would happen when the world ends.

The scenes explained in the religious books including frequent natural calamities (earthquakes, huge floods, large fires, melting mountains due to eruptions), famine, wars, and diseases were scary.

When I grew up and became an adult, my interest did not end. I wanted to know more. I became interested in life after death books and the messages brought back by those who had near-death experiences such as the one explained by Dannion Brinkley in his book, “Saved by the Light: The True Story of a Man Who Died Twice and the Profound Revelations He Received”. I was amazed by Dannion’s story and what he shared about the knowledge acquired during his near-death experiences and what future would hold.

Later, I became interested in the teachings of Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University (BKSU). One of the concepts of the teachings of BKSU is about the end of this old world as we know it (through destruction) and the start of a “new beginning” called Golden age. According to BKSU philosophy, the world has a cycle of 5000 years and we are approaching the end of the current cycle. Everything will happen suddenly and we, as human souls, should be ever ready.

Whether you believe in any of these or not, my point is that any beginning has an ending and an ending has a beginning. For instance, the last minute of the winter is the first minute of the Spring that repeats every year. Spring always follows Winter in our 4-season annual cycle.

Recently, the world has gone through a pandemic that has caused lots of suffering for many. Many nations including the United States have been challenged very hard with implications that the Coronavirus has caused. Many people are dying and many more are going to die. The economies are crashing, and people do not know what would happen at the end.

The question is: “Is this the end?”

My answer is no. This pandemic is not going to result at the end of the world. However, it is a test for humanity. It is a warning. It is also an opportunity for us to better understand ourselves and the world we live in. This pandemic is showing us that the world as we know it can break apart suddenly and quickly.

No matter how long this situation is going to last, it will end! I’d say in a few months we gradually go back to normal. People will go back to their works and businesses as usual. The students will go back to their schools as usual. And, though it may take a couple of years, the economy will get back to record highs again as usual.

Although this is not going to be the end, the end of this cycle of the world is not that far.

We are going to see more frequent and stronger earthquakes, volcanos, floods, fires, wars, pandemic diseases, and economic meltdowns. All of these would make us ready for the final destruction that would lead to a new beginning for humanity.

I encourage you to discover your true self and find peace and joy within. Connect with your higher self and open up to new possibilities. Take your understanding to the next level and help human consciousness to upgrade. The world needs to go through change and if we are more conscious and connected, the ride would be smoother.

And yes, still dream on and go after what you truly want in your life. That is how you can lead a purposeful and fulfilled life. Don’t sit idle and wonder what to do during a mandatory stay-at-home period. Take advantage of this opportunity and know yourself better.

Dig down and find your true passion and purpose for serving others. If you lose your job due to the current situation we are in, don’t get mad or sad about it. Look at it as an opportunity. Sit down and engineer your best future. Come up with an idea that could not only generate income for you but also serve others in ways that you had not imagined before.

This is the time that opportunities pop up if you search for them. Take advantage of them.

If you are not clear about where to start or how to start, let me know. I am here to help. My mission is to serve you and prepare you for the next level.

Let’s think of the “new beginnings” and not the end.

By the way, in the past few years, I’ve been thinking of writing a new book on the “end of the world” and what it means for us. 🙂 Who knows, maybe this post is going to be the beginning of this new book!
