Summary

As adults, we usually forget the dreams that we once had in our teenage years. We tend to cover them up and move on with life like most people. When we become adults, get married, and have kids, we tend to dream for them our unfulfilled dreams. We ask them to follow what we say or what suggest because we think that we are very wise and they have to listen to us.This may lead to some conflict down the road. And it may eventually create some distance between us and our kids when they become teenagers. That is why it is crucial for us to understand our teens and their dreams and aspirations better.

For this reason, I invited an expert to the Dream Achievers Podcast so we can talk about the teens, their dreams, and how to support them in living their dreams. My special guest in this episode of the Dream Achievers Podcast is Mary Lynne Fernandez, who recently released her new book “The Warrior Teenager: Let Go of Self-Sabotage & Embrace Your True Power”. I’ve known Mary Lynne for several years. I know that she is an authentic and caring person. She is helping teenagers to end their self-sabotage, realize their values, and live their teen dreams.

Apart from being an author, Mary Lynne is a successful keynote speaker, transformational life coach, and an insightful business consultant. She brings forth over 14 years of enthusiastic expertise in the field of coaching young adults while profoundly empowering their parents. She has passionately served tweens, teens, and their parents as a middle school teacher and as a life coach. To every client, audience, project, and challenge, Mary Lynne brings forth fairness, humility, and gratitude. Her kind and honest style of speaking and coaching have earned her immense respect and love in her community.

Mary Lynne struggled during her teenage years like so many teens do today. She overcame the struggle and teaches others to do the same so they can become a Warrior Teenager. Today she is respected as a powerhouse “Teen-Esteem Expert.” When it comes to connecting with teenagers, Mary Lynne is a real natural.

Listen to this episode to learn how we can help teens let go of self-sabotage so they embrace their true power, overcome their challenges, and live their dreams.
